I agree that when the government is listening to all of your phone calls that they are overstepping there boundaries. People should have the right to privacy, it is in the constitution and should be acknowledged; however I do believe that the governments security measures against terrorism like screening at airports and borders is important. Since 9/11 it has become increasingly more difficult to get across the border into the U.S. due to these security measures. I think that they are necessary to prevent another 9/11 from happening. So I agree with some of what the government in the U.S. is doing but not all of it the invasion of everyone's privacy is over stepping their boundaries but seeing what has happened in the past they are airing on the side of caution to protect all of us.
